Woodstock Fire Department has an enhanced mutual aid agreement with the Greenwood Fire Department. This means, that every other day of the work week, Woodstock has a 2 person per-diem crew working at the fire station. This crew will respond to all calls (requests for help) in the towns of Woodstock & Greenwood during the daytime. The days that Woodstock does not have crew at their station, Greenwood Fire has a 2 person crew that will respond to all calls in both towns. This continues to be a great and quick service to both towns when fewer firefighters are around during the daytime hours.
Woodstock is also very fortunate to have PACE ambulance serve our community. PACE has 1 ambulance and crew that are stationed in town 24/7, located at a separate ambulance station.
Woodstock Fire Department also provides a medical first responder service. Our dedicated EMT's and first responders go to all medical calls in town and sometimes to our neighboring communities along with PACE ambulance.
